Depending on your facility needs, there are
many cost effective projects that will make your
building and processes more energy efficient.
Local governments across Tennessee are improving
their facilities by:
- Replacing worn and inefficient heating,
ventilation and cooling systems
- Upgrading lighting systems and controls
- Adding insulation and energy efficient
windows
- Replacing boilers, motors and HVAC
equipment with up-to-date, state-of-the-art
equipment
How can the Local Government
Energy Loan Program help you finance
energy efficiency improvements?
All units of Tennessee city and county governments
are eligible. Examples of eligible facilities
include K-12 public schools, administrative facilities,
jails, libraries, courthouses, fire halls and
water departments.
- Free energy audit and technical assistance
- Up to $500,000 available per applicant
- 3% interest rate over 7 years
- Government buildings located in "Main Street" or "3-Star" communities may qualify for interest-free loans
- Lump sum annual payments

information, showing how you can save
energy and money. To learn more about the program,

areas where you can save energy and money
- We will assist your administrative staff in
processing the necessary forms
- We will work with your facility staff to
choose the right kind of equipment to fit
your needs.
