The mission of The University of Memphis, Tennessee Energy Institute is to assist the
Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development, Energy Division with
the implementation and promotion of energy savings programs to small businesses, local
governments, and school systems throughout the state of Tennessee with the
goals of improving clients’ operational efficiencies and preserving global natural
resources.
